- Access your Samsung mobile settings
- Go to the lock screen section
- Click on Security Lock Settings option
- Enter your lock PIN or password
- Enable the Switch that appears to the right of Show lock option
Once this “lockdown mode” is activated, to activate it you just have to long press the power button to bring up the shutdown menu and click on the Lockdown mode button.
By default, Samsung phones are configured at the factory so that when you long press the power button, your virtual assistant, Bixby, is activated and not the shutdown menu of the terminal, but to change this configuration you just have to do this following :

- Go to the Advanced Features section
- Click the Button Function option
- In the Press and hold active section the Menu button turns off
