The Sunergia Group revealed, in a study on the quality of Moroccan products, that 79% of those surveyed believe that the quality of local drinks and food is better compared to 12% who prefer the quality of foreign products.
By age, 25-34 year olds find the quality of foreign products better than that of local products (18% vs 12%), says this study entitled “Is the quality of Moroccan products comparable to others?”, noting that this can probably be linked to the degree of digitization of these brands, which do not stop their efforts in terms of and promotional actions on social networks, reports MAP.
For city dwellers, the duel of quality of Moroccan vs. foreign products also turns in favor of foreign brands (17% vs. 12%), specifies the study, which affirms that the abundant availability of these brands, whether at supermarkets or the traditional circuit, has had an impact on this choice, which is the opposite of that of rural people. The latter find the quality of Moroccan products better (85% vs 79%).
As for the “Beauty and well-being” category, 45% of respondents think that the quality of Moroccan products is better while 39% find that of foreign products better, continues Sunergia, who explains that these results reflect the growth Moroccan products as well as beauty and well-being brands, which rely on the use of local ingredients such as argan oil, fig seeds or even cedar wood and ghassoul.
Regarding the category “maintenance and cleaning”, 52% of Moroccans think that the quality of local products is better once morest 33%.
In the “fashion and accessories” category, 48% of Moroccans find that the quality of Moroccan brands is better, while 37% think the opposite.
Regarding the “furniture and decoration” category, 67% of Moroccans judge the quality of Moroccan furniture brands to be superior, while 19% believe that that of foreign products is better, says the study, which notes that the sector furniture in Morocco brings together several national companies, with a good quality of products as well as a strong reputation and seniority.
In the duel of quality between Moroccan and foreign products, Moroccans almost unanimously judge that the quality of Moroccan products is better than that of foreign products.
