Cabbage soup with tomatoes is a plate of delicious and useful hot appetizers, and serve it hot on your trip alongside toasted toast
Ingredients
Cabbage: 4 cups (white/minced)
Red cabbage: 2 cups (chopped)
Chicken broth: 5 cups
Tomatoes: 2 tablets (peeled and chopped)
Green onions: 2 sticks (finely chopped)
Red pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
Vegetable oil: a tablespoon
Butter: a tablespoon
Salt: a teaspoon
Black pepper: a pinch
Cumin: a quarter of a teaspoon
How to prepare
In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil and butter, then add the green onions, chopped red pepper, and stir the ingredients for several minutes until the ingredients soften.
Add tomato paste, tomatoes, red cabbage and white cabbage, sprinkle with salt, and stir for 7 minutes.
Add the broth and leave the mixture until it boils, then reduce the heat, cover the pot, and leave the soup for regarding 25 minutes until the ingredients are cooked.
Season with cumin, black pepper and stir a little.
Pour the soup into a serving dish, then serve hot
