Les Musicales de Croissy – Raphaël Sévère (clarinet) & Nathanaël Gouin (piano)

In a series of high-quality concerts, Les Musicales de Croissy presents some of the most prominent musicians of the young generation, musicians already in demand on the greatest French, European and world stages.

Considered “the” French virtuoso of the young generation of clarinettists, Raphaël Sévère seduces with the fluidity of his playing and his warm and full sound. A breathtaking musicality, an exacerbated sensitivity and a communicative enthusiasm, served by a confusing technical mastery. The public is spellbound.
Winner of the Tokyo competition at the age of 12, “Instrumental soloist revelation” at the Victoires de la Musique at 15, in 2013 he won the 1st Prize at the prestigious Young Concert Artists competition in New York. Since then, he has played in the most prestigious halls around the world, and with the greatest orchestras.

Nathanaël Gouin, winner of several international competitions, is recognized as one of the most original voices of the young French piano, hailed for his talent as a colorist and his poetic sense. Many of his recordings have won awards.
Soloist with a thousand facets, he is also a passionate and recognized chamber musician, regular partner of great performers. He has the art of capturing the soul of his partners, thus making the musical sharing deep, vibrant and generous.

Together they have prepared a Schumann and Brahms program which will be broadcast more widely in the coming months.

In the program :

  • SCHUMANN: 5 pieces in a popular tone for cello and piano (transcription R. Sévère)
  • SCHUMANN: Sonata for violin and piano in A minor op. 105 (transcription R. Severe)
  • SCHUMANN: Scenes from Children for piano (excerpts)
  • BRAHMS: Sonata for clarinet and piano op.120 n2

And the music must be a moment of sharing and conviviality, the concert is followed by a drink in the presence of the artists, where the whole public is invited.
