Alessandra Keller, 26, however, only came 6th in Val di Sole. But this result was enough for her to overtake the Dutch Anne Terpstra, then at the top of the general classification before this last event, but sick this weekend and finishing only 45th.

Keller is the 3rd Swiss woman to win the general classification of the World Cup. The previous ones were Barbara Blatter (2000 and 2001) and Jolanda Neff (2014, 2015 and 2018).
For her part, with her place on the podium, Olympic champion Jolanda Neff confirmed her good form at the end of the season. This is the 26th time she has made the cross-country podium. Sina Frei finished 5th, completing a nice group shot from the Swiss. The victory of the day went to the Frenchwoman Pauline Ferrand-Prévot in front of her compatriot Loana Lecomte.
