Al-Marsad newspaper: The Director of Public Health at the Gulf Health Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ammar, commented on the question, “Can you stand on one leg for 10 seconds?”

Al-Ammar said in a video clip posted on his account with the “Tik Tok” application: “A study from the British Journal of Sports Medicine says that people with an average age of 40 to 60 years are estimated to stand for 10 seconds on one foot, their chances of premature death are lower than others.”

He noted, “If you can’t stand on one leg for 10 seconds, it puts you in danger.”

He continued, “You need to make sure that you have the right leg and the left leg. If you stand for 10 seconds, it means that your muscles are excellent and your physical fitness is excellent. Try it.”

And he concluded: “A person who cannot stand for 10 seconds on one foot will pull his tricks in sports.”
