Al-Ansar club tied with its guest Shabab Al-Sahel, 2-2, today, Saturday, in the first round of the Lebanese Football League.
Al-Ansar advanced in the first half of the match with the goal of Hassan Maatouk in the 23rd minute, and Shabab Al-Sahel managed to equalize in the last minutes of the first half through Fadel Antar (45th minute).
In the second half of the match, Ishaka Diarra scored the second goal for Al-Ansar (75th minute), and Shabab Al-Sahel equalized the result once more through Zain Farran (77th minute).
In this tie, Al-Ansar and Shabab Al-Sahel scored their first point this season, with Al-Ansar in second place temporarily, and Shabab Al-Sahel in third place.
In another match of the same round, Al-Borg Club managed to achieve a difficult victory over Salam Zgharta, with a score of 2-1.
The two goals of Al-Borg Club were scored by Mahmoud Kaour (62nd) and Mohamed Al-Sebaei (90+1), while Al-Salam Zgharta goal was scored by Imad Karima (80th minute).
With this victory, Al-Burj club achieved its first three points this season, to lead the standings temporarily, pending other results.
