Famous American humorist, Tiffany Haddish, and comedian, Aries Spears, accused of embezzlement of a minor and child abuse.
According to court documents obtained by The Daily Beast, the two comedians are accused of abusing a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother, who are now 22 and 14 and are pressing charges. They were identified under the anonymous pseudonyms of Jane Doe and John Doe in the legal documents. Jane is the complainant as an individual and on behalf of her younger brother.

The lawsuit alleges Tiffany Haddish, “a longtime family friend,” approached Jane in 2013 for “a perfect role” in a commercial. According to the filing, neither Jane nor her mother knew regarding the ad’s plot, but Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears did. The commercial shooting allegedly involved Tiffany Haddish teaching Jane how to mimic oral sex while eating a sandwich.
A year later, Tiffany Haddish would have contacted the mother of the siblings in order to enlist John for a sequence of Nickelodeon. The complaint alleges John, then seven years old, was abused by Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears for a skit published on Funny or Die titled Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.

Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are being sued for “intentional infliction of emotional distress, gross negligence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual abuse of a minor”. The accusers seek financial compensation for “past, present and future general damages”.
Lawyers for Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears called the lawsuit a “racket”. “The plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to pursue these bogus claims once morest Ms. Haddish for several years,” the actress’ attorney, Andrew Brettler, said in a statement. “Every lawyer who initially took on her case – and there were several – eventually dropped the case once it became clear that the claims were without merit and that Ms Haddish would not be swayed. .”
Representatives of Funny or Die called the video uploaded to their platform “absolutely disgusting” and insisted that they would never produce such content. She was taken down in 2018, as soon as they had “knowledge of her existence”.
