Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand under royal patronage join forces Organized a big beach tennis battle or beach tennis, “ITF Beach Tennis World Tour Thailand 2022” at Greta Sport Club, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, is a new sport that is gaining interest and is growing rapidly. Organized to push beach tennis to be known and more widely known in the country. and allow Thai beach tennis players to experience the top international beach tennis players It is also a good opportunity for public relations to communicate the image of the country to tourists around the world. Ready to create economic value and to have money circulating in the domestic tourism business system continuously with the mechanism of sports tourism In this event, there are highlights as athletes, ranked number 4 in the world, along with athletes from 14 countries around the world participating in the competition. Which is scheduled to be held between 25 August – 5 September 2022
Mr. Thitithep Thephasdin Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Secretary General of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty said, “Beach tennis or beach tennis is a new sport that is rapidly gaining popularity in European countries. It is a sport that combines the fun of sports activities with the sun, sea and sand very well. This sport can be played by all ages. Can be organized in the form of competition or playing for exercise. as well as being used as an activity to create fun and unity between friends and family We therefore realized the importance and organized the Beach Tennis Tournament “ITF Beach Tennis World Tour Thailand 2022” to push the Thai beach tennis community to be widely known. Ready to provide competitive experience for Thai athletes to advance to the international level. This event is regarded as a national event with great support from various government and private agencies such as the Sports Authority of Thailand. National Sports Development Fund, DECATHLON THAILAND Singha and the venue for competitions such as Greta Sport Club, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, and most importantly, this event also supports the results of the competition and has the ranking of athletes with the standards of the World Tennis Federation (ITF).”

For the ITF Beach Tennis World Tour Thailand, it will be divided into 2 categories, men’s doubles and women’s doubles. There are 4 competitions, namely BT10, BT50, BT50 and BT100 by the BT10 model. Competing between 25 – 27 August 2022, the BT50 model Competing between 28 – 30 August 2022, winning a prize of $ 4,500 and another BT50, competing between August 31 – September 2, 2022, winning a prize of $ 4,500 and culminating in the model that is considered an important highlight. BT100 will compete between 3 – 5 September 2022 for a prize money of $ 10,000 or regarding 3.5 hundred thousand baht.
