Frédéric Clette is an astrophysicist, specialist in the sun at theRoyal Observatory of Belgium. Frédéric Clette studied physics at ULB. It was through contact with professor and solar physicist André Koeckelenbergh that his fascination with the star of the day was revealed.

He joined the Royal Observatory of Belgium in 1983, where he held various positions. He is currently in charge of the institution’s solar telescopes.
