This comes just a day following a team of inspectors from the United Nations nuclear agency arrived at the nuclear power plant, which is witnessing fierce fighting between Ukrainian and Russian forces, six months following the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

The IAEA’s mission is to help secure the site, as Moscow and Kiev continue to trade blame for the bombing of the nuclear plant and its surroundings.

In a post on the messaging app Telegram, a member of the Kremlin-appointed local administration, Vladimir Rogov, said, “The Dniprovskaya power line has been hit. turned nuclear power station to serve only her own needs.”
