The first woman to chair the board of directors of Military Factory 27: A great responsibility and a challenge

Engineer Dina Abdel Moneim, the first woman to chair the board of directors of the Military Factory 27, said that she assumed a great responsibility and a great challenge, explaining that her assumption of that position as the first woman was a start and encouragement for all.

She added, during her meeting with the “Egypt Can” program, via the “DMC” channel, with the journalist Ahmed Fayek, that the Military Factory 27 is one of the leading factories for military production, explaining that the factory produces small arms ammunition for the armed forces and the police.

She explained that work is underway with a degree of efficiency, full capacity and needs, and an acceptable quality at a very high rate, noting that the Egyptian state is considering more than one look.

She pointed out that the goal is to develop products, so that the manufacturing ratios are all local, pointing out that the goal is to deepen the industry, adding: “All my life I built factories and workshops.”

She stated that she did not imagine or wait for a woman to be assigned to the position, commenting: “Breaking the taboo,” explaining that the Minister of Military Production offered her the position, and told her: “I trust you,” adding: “I was not certified by the full support of the leadership and workers.”

And the engineer, Dina Abdel Moneim, continued: “Josie is every need in my life, and he helped me during the master’s time and the times of travel, and every decision in which I felt thanks to the family on me, and he used to tell me: We will be happy.”
