The iPhone 14 has not even been officially presented yet that Samsung is already trolling Apple. The South Korean giant pokes fun at the iPhone 14 and its lack of “innovation” in a new video.
Samsung did not wait the launch of the iPhone 14 next week to make fun of Apple. The next keynote of September 7 will indeed be dedicated to the iPhone 14. The South Korean giant has shared an video in which it openly mocks the iPhone 14 and even takes over the visual identity of the September 7 keynote.
Samsung’s video entitled “Buckle up” or “attach your belts” in French highlights the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 launched in August alongside the Z Fold 4 while the S22 Ultra that we tested came out earlier this year.
Samsung criticizes the lack of “innovation” of the iPhone 14
Samsung isn’t preparing to announce new high-end smartphones until S23 in 2023, but he advertises his smartphones by throwing a spade at Apple. In its video, which is only 30 seconds long, Samsung states that: “ Buckle up for Apple’s latest launch as you enter a world where heads will turn, but not in your direction. Where the camera with the highest resolution on a smartphone will be in someone else’s pocket. And that epic shot of the Moon that’s getting all the likes won’t be yours. Because this innovation isn’t coming to an iPhone near you anytime soon. She’s already here in the Galaxy ».
This video criticizes as well the lack of “innovation” of the iPhone 14. Obviously, we don’t yet know all the official features of the iPhone 14, but the two Pro models promise the most novelties. In effect, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max would be the first in several years to accommodate two punches instead of the traditional notch.
Moreover, according to the latest rumors, iOS would turn off the pixels of the screen between these two punches to give the appearance of having a single large oval punch in the shape of a pill. This space would be used to display the indicator lights for the camera and microphone. Whatever, this is not the first time that Samsung has mocked the iPhone and it will surely not be the last.
