Manchester United continued to wake up, and achieved the third consecutive victory in the current Premier League season, when it beat its host Leicester City with a goal at the King Power Stadium, at the end of the fifth round of the competition, Thursday evening.
Manchester United, who started the season disastrously, and lost the first two games once morest Brighton and Brentford, rose up and achieved 3 consecutive victories over Liverpool and Southampton, and today it is Leicester City’s turn.
Manchester United’s only goal in the match was scored by Jadon Sancho in the 23rd minute, taking advantage of a charming through pass from Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United rose to fifth place with 9 points, one point ahead of Liverpool, ranked sixth, and one point behind Brighton, who is fourth.
On the other hand, Leicester City remained in last place with one point, without any victory since the beginning of the season.
Manchester United coach Eric Tin Hag kept Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench at the beginning of the match, but he included them as two substitutes, the first entering in the 59th minute at the expense of Anthony Ilanga, and the second in the 68th minute instead of Sancho.
Manchester United is preparing to host Arsenal in an expected Clasico next Sunday in the sixth round, while Leicester City will visit Brighton on the same day.
