A breakdown in the Santo Domingo Metro affected the movement of hundreds of users this Thursday morning, due to the suspension of service at a station.
The Metro Office issued a statement explaining that the fault was in the signaling system of the Concepción Bona station, which caused delays in the circulation of trains on Line 2, and in the connection with Line 1.
“While the breakdown lasted, service was suspended at said station for regarding 25 minutes. Operations on the rest of Line 2, from María Montez to Trina de Moya, remained active”.
Currently the Metro offers service normally and highlights that “it does not affect the safety of users”.
