According to the 8-K document submitted by Huida, US customers’ orders for A100 chips can be exported to China by March next year; in addition, Huida can continue to supply A100 and H100 chip-related customer orders through Hong Kong Huida until September next year. moon.

The U.S. government notified Huida on August 26 that the U.S. side has implemented new licensing requirements that require the company to address the risk of direct or indirect use of its products for “military end-use” or “military end-users” in China and Russia.

Huida said on Wednesday it would stop selling its A100 chips and its upcoming H100 chips to China and Russia, a move that might cost Huida as much as $400 million and even move some of its business out of China.

Super Micro (AMD-US) also pointed out that it has received a new license request from the US government to stop the export of its MI250 artificial intelligence chips to China, but the company believes that its MI100 chip sales will not be affected.
