Hogwarts Legacy takes us to the heart of Hogwarts
To be forgiven for the announcement of its postponement to 2023 — the title is now expected for February 10, 2023 —, the next game in the Harry Potter universe multiplies presentations and information. For years now, Hogwarts and its surroundings have fascinated spectators and gamers have longed for a title that will take them through these intoxicating lands. Warner Bros. has understood this well and takes us, at regular intervals, in 4K rides to amaze us and raise the tension. Today, we go up a notch in the exploration of the enclosure of the wizards since we can now have a glimpse of the famous Common Rooms of the Four Houses of Hogwarts.
And Hogwarts Legacy had chosen to bet on a brand new trailer for gamescomwhile offering players a preview of what the editions will contain Deluxe et Collector, the title of Warner Bros. returned to the very source of his magic, namely his school. While waiting for the players to be fixed on the Houses they will represent, Hogwarts Legacy invites us to enter the well-hidden lair of the students of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, the time of four videos which are simply stunning in detail.
The Common Rooms of the 4 Houses have never been so beautiful
Admittedly, the previews are short but they leave us plenty of time to admire the care taken by the Avalanche Software teams on the different sets of the four Houses so that they stick as much as possible to the literary sources at their disposal. On the one hand, we find the famous passage, behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the seventh floor, borrowed by Harry Potter and his band and which gives us access to a room with gold and red tones, typical of Gryffindor (to be found at the top of the article). Opposite, the Slytherin Common Room which reveals to us much darker and greenish hues.
To return to something brighter, the Ravenclaw Common Room is an enchanting setting which stimulates the two most important axes of this house, knowledge and creativity. Finally, the biggest surprise remains to survey the spaces of the Common Room of Hufflepuff since it is the only one that the heroes of JK Rowling’s work have not had the opportunity to discover within their adventures. We therefore discover a room lulled by the rays of the sun and which has a soothing setting filled with wood and plants of all kinds.
