Manifest sets the tone!

The new section of the socio-cultural center, Manifest, specializing in providing technical support from the cultural community, offered a free back-to-school concert on Saturday evening! Nice atmosphere at the rendezvous…

Created in 2020, the Event section called “Manifest” now knows music, providing logistical support during various events such as concerts, shows, parties… A second time, like at the end of August 2021, the fine team of the young president, Théo Sickler, had concocted a quality musical evening, heading for the socio-cultural center, to avoid uncertain weather in the open air on the market square. Finally, it did not rain a drop and the concert took place on the vast stage of the socio and the no less large room Charles Perrot. Two local groups, Six Rock N’Fun, newly created and a fan of polished pop/rock covers, and Wildation, haloed by its recent appearance at the Chiens à plumes, set the mood for the 150 people who came to attend this evening free entry “It’s quite complicated to get people moving, we’re a little disappointed with the crowds, but everything went well” summed up Théo Sickler. The six musicians; repeating at Chalindrey; from Six Rock N’Fun distilled beautiful technical tracks with a certain artistic osmosis. They had the daunting task of heating a somewhat dispersed room set up in front of tables. The change of set of half an hour made it possible to launch the second part. Wildation, Vince on guitar, Bobby on bass, Martin on drums, the Langrois trio bathed the public in a most pleasant and harmonious soul/rock atmosphere with eclectic compositions. All assured, played “nickel” in front of a receptive, but static audience. Manifest also pulled out all the stops by providing technical support, Mickaël Médigue on sound, Jimmy Gobert, Charlotte Parriaux on lighting; while a good fifteen other volunteers ensured the reception of snacks and refreshments; both inside and outside. An excellent idea, which allowed everyone to enjoy a beautiful evening and go past midnight quietly, under the stars… Now it’s time for the Manifest section of the socio-cultural center to perform the light show during the second “Bière du Son ”, market square, announced and expected on Saturday September 24 under the aegis of the CSC (Cheminots sportif de Chalindrey).
