The Valais cantonal police carried out checks which focused on modified vehicles on Friday August 26, it said in a press release on Thursday.
During this operation carried out on the roads of the passes of the Goms valley, 31 vehicles were checked, in particular at the level of non-compliant modifications and excessive noise. Four drivers were reported.
This is the second time that the police have carried out such an action in the German-speaking part of the canton in a month.
Speeding
On the same day, the police flashed a motorcyclist in Gletsch as he was traveling at 118 km/h instead of the authorized 80 km/h.
