The subjects presumably belonged to the “El Koki” gang.
A commission from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) went to Cota 905, in Caracas, following being warned regarding the detonation of a grenade.
After processing a complaint, the security body moved to the Las Luces sector.
And, once there, they found several criminals and an exchange of bullets began between both groups. During the shooting, two of the criminal gang were killed, identified under the nicknames “El Chacho” and “El Yeison”.
They presume that these were members of the “El Koki” gang, which would be in the process of being restructured, according to journalist Santiago Gutiérrez.
The confrontation lasted an hour and a half, and took place in the upper part of the San Miguel neighborhood.
To the Las Luces sector, they mobilized approximately 150 PNB officials.
