2022/2023 KHL regular season calendar

Today, September 1, the new season of the Continental Hockey League starts. The first match of the Fonbet KHL championship will be held by the winner of the Gagarin Cup – 2022 CSKA and the finalist of the Metallurg tournament. The meeting starts at 19:00 Moscow time.

From the 2022/2023 season, the teams will play a record 68 games in the regular season: 42 matches each once morest each (21 at home, 21 away); 20 games with each team in their conference (10 at home, 10 away); 6 meetings within the framework of the recruitment in order to improve the principal matches (3 at home, 3 away).

The regular season will end on February 26, 2023. The playoffs will start on March 1st.

In total, the championship provides for one pause for the matches of the national teams – from December 12 to 18, 2022. A few days before the break, the Week of Hockey Stars will be held in Chelyabinsk.
