They deploy an operation in Bolivia to recover the stolen phone of Evo Morales

The security agents came once the emergency call was answered.

The Bolivian Police responded to the complaint of former President Evo Morales regarding the theft of his phone and deployed their forces in order to recover the mobile device in the shortest possible time.

Morales was attending a campaign event for Rufino Correa, who is running for office in the department of Santa Cruz, when he noticed the loss of the device.

The incident occurred around 8:30 pm and the Bolivian authorities immediately attended with “a spectacular mobilization,” according to local media reports.

Orlando Ponce, national commander of the General Police, ordered the presence of intelligence units and agents to carry out an “intense search”, a term they used to indicate the urgency of the event.

The urgent displacement was justified by the amount of contacts and information that the former Bolivian president has, and that can be used for an embezzlement purpose.
