The “Taliban” movement in Afghanistan celebrated on Wednesday the first anniversary of its assumption of power in the country, following the departure of the last occupying US soldier from the country, according to the “Bakhtar News Agency”.
According to the agency, the celebration ceremony was launched “in the presence of civil and military officials, tribal dignitaries, the Mujahideen, and the general public in the states of Balkh, Jowzjan, Helmand, Zabul, Farah, Faryab, and others.”
On this occasion, Prime Minister of the “Taliban” government, Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhand, said, “Dear Mujahideen, this day and this date is the moment that we sacrificed for the sake of achieving it.. I bless this day for those martyrs who gave their precious souls for the sake of God.” He added, “All problems must be resolved through negotiation, not making excuses to find problems, and the Islamic Emirate (Taliban) is ready to negotiate with them.”
