Walmart invites Canadian sellers to integrate its e-marketplace into the United States

Walmart invites its Canadian sellers to turn to its electronic marketplace, where they might reach up to 120 million American customers each month.

To achieve this, the multinational will showcase new tools and services at the Walmart International Virtual Summit for Canadian Sellers on September 8, 2022.

The webinar will feature hands-on sessions led by senior executives from Walmart and cross-border payments provider Payoneer.

“Attendees will learn how to ensure easy onboarding, simple order management, targeted promotions, integrated financial services and other support services to help them expand their offering and expand rapidly in the U.S. and Canadian markets,” Walmart said in a statement.

Walmart wants to allow small and medium-sized businesses in the country to take advantage of the benefits of the Canada-United States-Mexico Free Trade Agreement (CUSMA).
