The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Beirut, Walid Bukhari, called on the Lebanese government to translate its commitments towards the Gulf states into concrete political reality, and to carry out all its duties towards preventing and stopping political and inciting activities towards Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, which threaten the Arab national security system. Bukhari noted, during his visit to the Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi, the seriousness and repercussions of the hostile and inflammatory policies emanating from Lebanon towards Saudi Arabia and the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States. Al-Khaliji always stands by Lebanon, and as long as Saudi Arabia is fine, Lebanon is fine. Bukhari thanked and appreciated the Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi, for his efforts that reflected positively on the mechanism of strengthening cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries, especially in the security field, and stressed that the Kingdom’s diplomatic efforts aim to secure a sustainable international safety net in the face of challenges and risks that threaten security and stability. Bukhari called on the competent Lebanese security services to complete the necessary legal and security measures regarding the terrorist threats published by Ali Hashem, and to seize him and hand him over to the security authorities in the Kingdom, as he is wanted by them, revealing the submission of an official diplomatic note to the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete the procedures in this regard.
Ambassador Walid Bukhari stressed that the Kingdom’s efforts in the field of combating the scourge of drugs reveal the reality of the magnitude of the challenge facing the Kingdom in order to preserve the security of societies and protect, and said: We value the efforts made by the Lebanese army and the relevant security services, such as the Information Division and the Internal Security Forces, under the guidance and follow-up of the Minister The Lebanese Ministry of Interior, because we have already noticed that there are qualitative operations that were reflected in accurate and distinct measures in the field of drug control, we also call on the Lebanese authorities to do more to strengthen mechanisms of cooperation and joint coordination in all areas of combating the illicit trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances and related organized crimes.
