Germany is in a better position to confront the threats of Russian gas

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed optimism regarding the “threats” of Russian gas, as Scholz said on Tuesday that government measures to ensure gas supplies during the winter made Germany ready to deal with a new reduction in Russian shipments, a day before Moscow cut off gas supplies for three days via Nord. Stream, as reported by “Agence France Presse”.

“The preparations mean that Germany is in a much better position in terms of security of supply than expected two months ago, and that we can deal well with the threats we face from Russia, which is using gas as part of its strategy in the war once morest Ukraine,” Schulz said in a statement.
