The prices of fuel and the gas cylinder drop on September 1

With a small day in advance, the prices of the products set by the prefecture were unveiled this Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Thus from September 1, 2022, the prices of premium unleaded fuel, diesel and gas cylinders will drop.

New drop in petroleum products for this month of September 2022. The prefecture published this Tuesday, August 30, 2022 the prices set by the representative of the State, as provided for in the regulations.

Several prices are revealed, the maximum prices excluding tax, the maximum prices including all taxes and finally the maximum prices including all taxes with the discount of 25 centimes per liter of fuel financed by the State. Last month, this discount was 15 cents per liter of fuel.

At the gas station, consumers should pay:

  • Premium unleaded fuel : €1.65/L, i.e. -0.28 €/L compared to August 2022 (€2.01/L)
  •   Road diesel : €1.67/L, i.e. -0.20 €/L compared to July 2022 (€1.87/L).
  • The gas cylinder (of 12.5 kg): €27.32, i.e. −0.10 € compared to July 2022 (€27.42).

The prefecture specifies that these are maximum prices.
