UCITS. Net assets under management exceed 550 billion dirhams in August

The value of net assets under management of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) reached 564.63 billion dirhams as of August 19.

According to weekly statistics (as of August 19, 2022) from the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), the net assets under management of Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) stood at 564.63 billion of DH as of August 19, down 4.77% since the start of the year.

The AMMC specifies that contractual UCITS posted the best monthly variation (+19.94%), followed by money market (+5.46%), equities (+2.70%) and CT bonds (+1, 94%). It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, contractual UCITS have recorded the best variation with +19%, while MLT bonds have had the greatest drop with -13.60%. Similarly, the number of UCITS in operation reached 552 funds as of August 19.
