El Pais newspaper reported that at least four men broke into his home in Castelldefels, near Barcelona, ​​across the park, threatening him and his wife with pistols and iron bars and beating him.

The newspaper pointed out that the thieves fled by car following forcing the Gabonese international to open a safe and escape with the jewels that were inside.

A spokeswoman for the Catalan police confirmed that they were investigating a violent robbery in Castelldefels, but refused to identify the victim, adhering to privacy rules, and continued that the investigation was still open and we were collecting information.
