Windows

Currently, Microsoft’s 2-in-1 style “Surface Pro” series includes the “Surface Pro” series that uses an Intel processor and the “Surface Pro X” series that uses an ARM processor. However, in the “Surface Pro 9” scheduled to be released this fall,Intel ‘Pro 9’ and ARM ‘Pro X’ product lines may be merged into ‘Surface Pro 9’ serieswas reported.

The report also states that the ARM model of the Surface Pro 9 will be equipped with a custom Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor called Microsoft SQ3, while the Intel model Surface Pro 9 will feature a 12th generation P. Equipped with a series processor, it is said that the performance will be significantly improved over the current “Pro 8”.

In addition, the “Surface Pro 9” will offer the first 5G compatible model in the Surface series, a new color and design type cover, but there will be no major changes to the appearance of the device, and the “Pro 8” so far. It seems to be compatible with the same type covers, pens, and other accessories as the and Pro X.

At the time of the “Pro 8,” it had almost the same design as the “Pro X,” so it feels like a natural flow to integrate it. We hope that the integration will make for a better device, but the details are still unknown at this time. Please note that what is reported here is therefore subject to change.

Microsoft is said to be announcing new devices in the coming weeks, including a new Surface Studio, Surface Laptop, and Surface Pro 9.
