Huawei announced on Monday the availability of its foldable smartphone in Spain. Mate Xs 2, a handset that retains the book form factor to deliver a size of up to 7.8 inches and performance powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
After its unveiling in April in China and the announcement in May of its arrival in the European market, Huawei has confirmed that the Mate Xs 2 is already available on the Huawei eStore for €1,999 in white, with an offer that includes the WATCH GT 3 Pro smartwatch for the same price.
The Mate Xs 2 is the latest addition to Huawei’s portfolio of foldable devices, in which the company has implemented the new quality management system. Falcon Wing hinge with double rotation. so that it can be folded into the size of a book and is completely flat when unfolded.
It is a lightweight device that weighs 255 gramsa weight more typical of non-folding handsets, the company said in a statement. The design features materials such as glass fibers etAerospace-grade titanium alloys and ultra-lightweight high-strength steelwhich also offer increased resistance.
The device has a 7.8-inch True-Chroma foldable display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels, and a folded size of 6.5 inches. It supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, as well as up to 240Hz touch sampling rate; the screen’s anti-reflective nano-optical layer reduces the reflectivity of light.
The company has formed a 4600mAh batteryis compatible with Distributed charging Huawei SuperCharge 66W and has a graphene liquid cooling system. It also incorporates a stereo sound system and works with the processor. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2’s True-Chroma camera system includes. a 50 MP True-Chroma camera, and new “mirror shot” functions, which allow users to preview the images they are regarding to take in real time through the camera’s digital viewfinder on both screens simultaneously.
