Elham Mohamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, confirmed that the construction site for the first mental health and addiction treatment hospital in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate has been handed over, to begin taking the necessary measures to establish and complete the hospital during the next year to serve patients from the governorate.
This came under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Major General Gamal Nour El Din, Governor of Kafr El Sheikh, and Dr. Mona Abdel Maksoud, Secretary General of the General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment at the Ministry of Health, in the presence of Dr. Tarek El Sherbini, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Kafr El Sheikh, and representatives The General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment at the Ministry of Health, and representatives of the Directorate of Health Affairs in the governorate.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health added that the establishment of a hospital for mental health and addiction treatment in Kafr El-Sheikh will provide the people of the governorate with a distinguished quality service, relieve them of the trouble of traveling and the cost of receiving treatment outside the governorate, and make a qualitative leap in the medical services provided to patients from the governorate of Kafr El-Sheikh.
