Emirates News Agency – MoI celebrates Emirati Women’s Day under the slogan “An inspiring reality… a sustainable future”

ABU DHABI, 29th August / WAM / Today, the Ministry of Interior celebrated the Emirati Women’s Day, which is held under the slogan “An inspiring reality… a sustainable future”, and falls on the 28th of August of each year, as part of the country’s celebrations on this occasion.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry, Major General Abdulaziz Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director General of Preventive Security, general managers, and a large number of officers and women working in various sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

Major General Al Khaili said in a speech on this occasion: “This celebration is a tribute to women and an appreciation for their pioneering role in building the nation and advancing the comprehensive development process witnessed by the United Arab Emirates in various fields, and represents a national occasion to express pride in the achievements of the “daughter of the Emirates”, And appreciating its vital role and outstanding contributions to the renaissance of the state and its sustainable progress.

He stressed that the distinction that Emirati women have achieved today came as a result of the unlimited support given to her by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, since the establishment of the state, believing in the importance of her role in the development process and the continuation of the march of renaissance and progress. His approach, the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, and that the interest of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, in women has no limits, and that interest stems from his belief in the importance of the pivotal role of women in raising good generations. Conscious, capable of dealing with and overcoming various challenges, and contributing to nation building; Women enjoy a great position in the UAE.

He explained that the Ministry of Interior paid special attention and support to working women within their strengths from Lieutenant-General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, through a set of various programs and initiatives that support their empowerment, which led to their excellence at work and the performance of their national duty in the best way. The Emirati women in the ranks of police and military work have proven that they perform their work tasks with strength and valor, and that they are the sister of men in maintaining the security and safety that our country enjoys, and the important gains, achievements and prosperity that the UAE has achieved.

He added, “The ministry has succeeded in strengthening the role of the female component and qualifying it to enhance the security and safety of our young country, thanks to the continuous support of the police leadership and the removal of obstacles that stand in the way of its progress and its work to occupy the highest positions in the police work.”

At the conclusion of his speech, he wished them continued success and success in serving our dear country, and that God would grant us the blessing of security and safety.

After that, Major General Al Khaili and the audience watched a video presentation showing the distinguished role played by Emirati women in the movement of renaissance, development and development achieved by the UAE in all fields, and their role in serving the country and maintaining the security and safety process that our country enjoys.

In conclusion, Major General Al-Khaili honored the head and members of the Coordinating Committee for Women’s Police Affairs, and the distinguished women elements from various sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

The Undersecretary toured the exhibition accompanying the celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, which was organized by the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior “Fazaa”, where he was briefed on the contents of the exhibition, in which many national companies and institutions participate.
