Father and son convicted of abuse in Vienna

In addition to the abuse of a defenseless person and the pornographic depiction of a minor, the charges also included intentionally causing serious bodily harm. The following day the boy rioted so much in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus that his father thought he had to defend him once morest angry passers-by and hit a 33-year-old father with an iron bar. The men then fled, which is why the now 18-year-old was also charged with abandoning an injured person.

The two, who had not shown themselves in the investigation, now admitted everything in court. However, they declined to make any further statements. “You can’t just access women. It’s not a self-service shop,” said judge Philipp Krasa in his verdict. “Women need to be left alone.”

The then 17-year-old Romanian celebrated with friends in the city park on March 25, where the 15-year-old was also there. Plenty of alcohol and drugs were consumed there before the group drove to the 18-year-old’s apartment because he was “free of storms,” as he reported. Arriving at the apartment, the celebrations continued – even when the 45-year-old father came home in the meantime.

At some point the 15-year-old fell asleep and the father, who also has a 14-year-old daughter, and the son “shamelessly exploited” the defenselessness, according to the prosecutor. The girl didn’t notice anything at all regarding the attacks and was all the more shocked when she found out what had happened from the film recordings and the other party participants. The recordings were even passed around. The 15-year-old then filed a complaint.

On the following day, the previously blameless men committed another crime. The son rioted in the 15th district of Vienna by kicking cars and construction site fences. Passers-by then wanted to confront him. In the inner courtyard of a residential complex on Pillergasse, he was surrounded by several pursuers. A 33-year-old, who arrived later, was suddenly hit in the head by his father with an iron bar.

According to forensic doctor Wolfgang Denk, the blow was “very strong” and resulted in a fractured skull with partial bleeding into the brain. “I didn’t see anything anymore. I was black before my eyes,” reported the 33-year-old on the witness stand. The son then kicked the man lying on the ground before the two fled. The 45-year-old has to pay the seriously injured man pain and suffering compensation of 5,620 euros.
