The Egyptian pound stabilizes against the dollar and rises against the euro and sterling

The banks traded the dollar exchange rates on Monday, between 19.12 and 19.19 pounds for purchase, compared to 19.20 and 9.22 pounds for sale.

The dollar recorded the lowest purchase level in the Suez Canal Bank at 19.12 pounds, and the highest level for sale at 19.22 pounds in the Egyptian Gulf and Arab African Bank. The price of the dollar and foreign currencies witnessed a new movement during the banking transactions period.

In the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar exchange rate recorded a level of 19.14 pounds for purchase and 19.20 pounds for sale. The exchange rate of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt reached 19.13 pounds for purchase and 19.23 pounds for sale.

In private banks, the exchange rate at the Commercial International Bank recorded a level of 19.16 pounds for purchase, and 19.22 pounds for sale. The exchange rate of the US green paper reached 19.12 pounds for purchase, and 19.22 pounds for sale at the Arab African Bank.

In terms of major foreign currencies, the European currency declined between 7 to 23 piasters, whether in buying or selling at Egyptian banks.

The exchange rate of the euro in the National Bank and Banque Misr recorded a level of 18.97 pounds for purchase, and 19.14 pounds for sale. At the Central Bank of Egypt, the average exchange rate of the euro once morest the Egyptian pound recorded a level of 19.05 pounds for purchase, and 19.17 pounds for sale.

The pound sterling also recorded a decline between 15 to 28 piasters, whether in buying or selling. At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the average exchange rate of the pound sterling reached 22.29 pounds for purchase, and 22.46 pounds for sale.

In the Central Bank of Egypt, the average price of the pound sterling once morest the Egyptian pound recorded a level of 22.47 pounds for purchase, 22.60 pounds for sale.

In the Arab world, the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal once morest the Egyptian pound at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr recorded a level of 5.08 pounds for purchase, and 5.11 pounds for sale.

The exchange rate of the UAE dirham reached 5.20 pounds for purchase, and 5.22 pounds for sale. While the Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate once morest the Egyptian pound reached 59.96 pounds for purchase, and 62.40 pounds for sale.
