German Marquez and Max Scherzer engaged in a pitching duel, in the clash between Colorado Rockies and New York Mets. The Venezuelan got the best part, following allowing only one hit by the New York offense. Both pitchers worked until the seventh inning. Márquez kept the Mets blank and the reliever was able to keep the game, for the criollo’s seventh victory of the season.
