Reality One, Reality Pro and Reality Processor: brands for Apple’s future AR/VR headset?

If The Oracles Are True, Then Apple’s Future Mixed Reality Headset Could Be presented next January. Obviously, the manufacturer will not have left anything to chance, and especially not the name of the device. Bloomberg tracked the filing of three trademarks by nominees often used by Apple to cover its tracks.

“Reality One” and “Reality Pro” might thus be the names of Apple’s mixed reality (augmented and virtual) device(s). And behind “Reality Processor” would logically hide the name of the chip under the hood of the devices.

These three trademarks have been registered in several countries (United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, etc.) by an empty shell company assisted by law firms usually mandated by Apple for this work. It was the same when, at the end of May, the “realityOS” brand was discovered.

Could the helmet in question (code name N301) come in two versions, One and Pro? It remains to be seen, but the name “Pro” is common in Apple’s ranges (beware of the price…). A second model (N602) and a pair of glasses (N421) are in development, but they will not be released for a few years. As for the “Reality Processor”, it would be an M2 chip with 16 GB of memory, with more powerful graphics capabilities.

Will Apple benefit from the special event September 7 for a “one more thing” in the form of a preview of this future device? Nothing is less certain, the program is already quite loaded between the ranges of iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8 and Pro.
