Today (28 Aug. 2022), the Minister of Defense of Poland Signed an agreement to purchase weapons from Hyundai Rotem and Hanhua Corp. worth regarding US$5.760 million or more than 208 billion baht to strengthen its military claws.

South Korea’s arms procurement agency said Poland had agreed to order 180 K2 tanks, unspecified number of cannons. A total of 48 FA-50 fighter jets are expected, and additional jet orders are expected to be agreed next month.

The signing is part of a large arms purchase agreement from South Korea that the two countries agreed on last month. Both countries have not announced the total order value.

Meanwhile, South Korean media estimated that the value of this arms purchase might be as high as $15 billion or regarding 543 billion baht.
