Tottenham achieved their third victory in the English Premier League following beating its host Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Sunday, in the fourth round.

Harry Kane scored the first goal in the fifth minute with a ground shot, and Kane raised his score to 3 goals in the Premier League this season. Harry Kane missed a penalty kick in the 56th minute following goalkeeper Dean Henderson saved it, and the second goal came from a header in the 81st minute following a cross from substitute Richarlison.

The victory raised Tottenham’s tally to 10 points, in second place with Manchester City and Brighton, and two points behind leaders Arsenal.

While the loss froze Nottingham Forest’s balance at 4 points, in thirteenth place.

Earlier, Wolverhampton drew with its guest Newcastle 1-1 at Molyneux Stadium. The tie raised Newcastle’s tally to 6 points from 4 games in seventh place, compared to two points from 4 games for Wolverhampton in 19th place.

In the most prominent matches of the fourth round, Manchester United beat Southampton 0-1, Chelsea 2-1 Leicester City, Liverpool 9 beat Bournemouth, Manchester City 4/2 beat Crystal Palace, and Arsenal 2-1 beat Fulham.
