BLACKPINK comeback Seoul, Tokyo, New York landmarks dyed in pink

To commemorate the girl group BLACKPINK’s comeback, landmarks in major cities around the world, such as Seoul, Tokyo, and New York, were dyed in pink to symbolize them.

YG Entertainment, the agency, announced on the 28th that before and following the release date of the new song ‘Pink Venom’, they held a ‘Light Up The Pink’ event, which illuminates the world’s major attractions with pink lights.

Starting with Namsan Seoul Tower in Seoul, the pink media façade was spread out at Tokyo Tower in Japan, Brooklyn Bridge in New York, the Santa Monica Ferris Wheel in Los Angeles, and Central World in Bangkok, Thailand.

YG Entertainment said, “Nearly 50,000 global fans participated in the SNS authentication event,” and “Main foreign media such as Billboard in the US and TBS in Japan also reported this.”

Meanwhile, Black Pink will appear on SBS TV’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the same day and present the first TV stage of ‘Pink Venom’.

This was pre-recorded as their only music show appearance.
