The government delegation will visit the U.S. government agencies such as the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce and Congress to communicate our concerns regarding the revised electric vehicle subsidy system, our industry’s position, domestic opinion, etc., and discuss future countermeasures. plan.

In addition, the delegation will hold a meeting with the auto-battery industry that has entered the US to check the response status of the Korean industry and discuss support measures at the government level.

The delegation’s visit was held as a preliminary consultation prior to the visit to the United States to attend the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) Ministerial Meeting, which is planned for next week. We plan to continue the consultation by upgrading it to a higher level.
