K League 1 Incheon, Gyeongin Derby won 2-0 and placed 3rd… august undefeated streak

Professional soccer K League 1 Incheon United moved up to 3rd place with a two-goal victory over FC Seoul in the ‘Gyeongin Derby’.

Incheon defeated Seoul 2-0 with consecutive goals from Hernandez and Kim Do-hyeok in the 23rd round of Hana One Q K League 1 2022 held at Incheon Football Stadium today (27th).

Incheon, who was in fourth place, moved up to third place, beating the Pohang Steelers, who played one game less, by scoring more goals.

Incheon ended the sweltering August with 3 wins, 2 draws and no losses.

Seoul dropped 7th to 8th place to Gangwon FC, which defeated Suwon Samsung on the same day.

Hernandez, who joined Incheon in the summer transfer window and quickly established himself as the core of the team’s attack, took the lead with his fourth goal from Incheon.

In the 26th minute of the first half, in a counterattack situation, he spread a ‘light-speed dribble’ from the half line to the right of the goal area, and then shot with his right foot and split the Seoul goal.

If you add up the goals scored in K League 2 in the first half, it was Hernandez’s 12th goal of the season.

The additional goal was ‘Captain of Incheon’ Kim Do-hyeok.

In the 8th minute of the second half, Seoul defender Shinjin Kim’s back pass to goalkeeper Hanbin Yang was too weak.

At the Suwon World Cup Stadium, Kim Dae-won, who had two assists from Gangwon, defeated Suwon 3-2 and took a step away from the relegation zone.

At the Jeju World Cup Stadium, ‘leader’ Ulsan Hyundai drew 1-1 with home team Jeju United.
