ININ Games is pleased to announce that they will be bringing Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! to fans in the West in 2023. The latest entry in TAITO’s universally loved series has just been released in Japan, in time for Bub’s birthday (Aug 26), the cute green star of the series. Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! Coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch, it will be the first game to feature a story mode playable with up to four players.
In story mode, players arrive at Rainbow Islands, the setting for the new game. Each section of the puzzle is complemented by a story intermission that introduces the protagonists, showcasing their unique personalities. To clear each stage, players must clear bubbles by connecting three or more of the same color, either alone or with the help of fun and entertaining items and tricks. Additionally, for the first time in series history, fans will be able to experience the story mode with a total of up to four players. So grab your controller and join your friends on an adventure through the Rainbow Islands!
The story of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! brings Bub, Bob, Peb, and Pab to Rainbow Island, where Miniroon, a mysterious character similar to Bub, lives. One day, the Miniroon suddenly starts emitting a large number of bubbles, covering the entire island and causing trouble for its residents. It’s time for our four friendly bubble dragons to step in and help Miniroon, whose bubbles are bad news for the island!
Puzzle Bobble (also known as Bust-A-Move) is an action-puzzle game in which brothers Bub and Bob, who have been transformed into bubble dragons by a wizard’s spell, go on a bubble-popping adventure. The classic game formula is simple but addictive: using various elements and tricks, connect three or more bubbles of the same color to remove them from the field and progress.
