Saint-Gall43-year-old Briton dies in lake
While swimming towards a raft, a 40-year-old man ran into trouble. Despite an attempt at resuscitation, he did not survive.
The unfortunate was trying to approach a raft on the Vorderer Schwendisee in Wildhaus (SG).

A man had problems swimming towards a raft on Friday around 5 p.m. at the Vorderer Schwendisee in Wildhaus (SG).
First aid was administered to him on the raft by witnesses. A doctor was then airlifted onto the raft and continued resuscitation. Unfortunately, this 43-year-old Briton died on the spot. The exact circumstances of the accident are under investigation under the direction of the public prosecutor of the canton of St. Gallen.
