The occasion was launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation. In 2015, the 28th of August was dedicated to celebrating it annually, highlighting the achievements of Emirati women and enhancing their role in society.

Before entering Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, or embarking on one of two record-breaking experiences in the world’s largest indoor skydiving room, or climbing the highest indoor climbing wall in CLYMB Abu Dhabi, the achievements of Emirati women can be recognized on large screens at their entry to the place.
