The incident happened around half past five on Saturday morning at the Priester Daensplein. The owner of the cafe was taken to hospital in mortal danger. Saturday followingnoon, his condition was still critical.
The alleged perpetrator, a 30-year-old man, was arrested for attempted murder. An investigating judge was called and the lab also went there. Nothing is yet known as to the motive or cause of the stabbing.
