Al Ain Zoo attracts national female cadres in rare fields

During its 54-year career, Al Ain Zoo made a quantum leap in attracting rare female cadres, in which Emirati women excelled in the field of nature conservation and the protection of endangered animals, with a localization rate of 95% of the total female cadres.
The park was one of the first government institutions to support and encourage women to work in unique field fields, as it was the first Emirati trainer of birds of prey, animal observers, doctors, veterinary nurses, nutritionists, horticulture, laboratory technicians, anatomy, tourism and safari guides, and others, in addition to administrative and supervisory positions in the field of life protection. Wildlife and animal care, with an average of 204 female employees.
Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajri, Director General of the General Organization of the Zoo and Aquarium in Al Ain, confirmed that the launch of the slogan “Inspiring Reality.. A Sustainable Future” for Emirati Women’s Day 2022 is an embodiment of what Emirati women have provided since the inception of our dear country. All areas of national development, as its reality is inspired by its achievement and its future is sustainable, with what it will maintain in terms of success and support for the country’s local and international march, under the supreme patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the Federation The General Women, Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation “Mother of the Nation”, which has created all the ingredients for success and creativity for Emirati women to achieve achievements and successes over the past decades.
