The new secretary general of Bam urges the servants of the State to more patriotism and sacrifices
Kongoussi, August 25, 2022(AIB)- The new secretary general of the province of Bam Karim Ouédraogo urged Thursday, his various collaborators to more sacrifice and respect for the authority of the State in order to allow the decentralized administration to properly accomplish its sovereign mission.
Karim Ouédraogo spoke for the first time in Bam, thanks to the ceremony dedicated to his installation as Secretary General of the province of Bam and chaired by High Commissioner Adama Jean Yves Beré.
“In administration, individual skills alone are not enough or matter little. We must come together as a dynamic and available team, because it is together that we can move our constituency forward in patriotism, civic-mindedness, solidarity, tolerance, mutual understanding, peace, social cohesion, reconciliation and living together. And to do this, I would like to ask each and everyone to sacrifice and respect the authority of the State,” he declared.
Civil administrator by training, Karim Ouédraogo was appointed secretary general of the province of Bam on August 3, 2022. He was previously secretary general of the provinces of Kénédougou and Houet.
His installation comes at a time when the Bam had no secretary general for more than a year, because the last, Tegwendé Armand Dambré, had been appointed secretary of Thomas Sankara University in June 2021.
All the constituted bodies of Bam through the prefect president of the special delegation of Kongoussi, Bassidiki Ouattara reaffirmed his availability to accompany him in the success of his mission.
