First Fleurance culture and art festival tomorrow

the essential
This event will allow you to meet artists from all walks of life who practice new techniques.

The first International and Culture Festival is proposed by the “Fleurance’Animations” team, chaired by André Detruiseux, who set up this cultural event in partnership with the town hall and the “KnackArtShow” association. It will welcome all artistic disciplines and of all nationalities (music, painting, poetry, shows, theatre, photography, etc.). It will be a whole day (from 10 to 20 hours) of arts and surprises, with Alex Reed of honor Jean-Louis Tonello.

Poetry department

As part of the Knack ArtShow, Gérard Pinson is invited for his poetic production. Known for his involvement in various companies in the city, he will be present, as a neighbor, to present his books and his poetic universe. His texts speak, among other things, of love, but they also give pride of place to humor, moods and ethnic battles. These books will be available for individual reading on site. It will even be possible to take sheets each with a poem. He will also talk regarding the release of his fifth book scheduled for the fall.

On the side of the painters

The exhibition of paintings, photography, craft stand, live painting with around sixty artists will take place under the arcades of the town hall. The Alex Reed of honor is Jean-Louis Tonello who is a self-taught painter. His approach to improving pictorial art and appropriating techniques led him to copy great masters such as Ingres, Monet, Stubbs, Raphaël, Le Caravaggio, Géricault… He is the author of the copy of the painting ” Le Repas d’Emmaus”, visible in the Saint-Laurent church as well as Saint-Jean-Baptiste, for whom he devoted part of his passion for the city and for the church.

Music and improvisations

The musical part will begin at 11 a.m. with “Le Jardin des Z’Arts” with children’s songs. At 4 p.m. Stéphane Xiberras (Xib Music) will present his latest CD as well as Elya Band and Ivo Musica & Co will close this first festival around 8 p.m.
