Didi’s driver manages to prove that a passenger assaulted him; she accused him of abuse

The story of a driver from Didi who was arrested took a radical turn thanks to the video cameras in his unit and his own colleagues in the union.

The driver was arrested by municipal police, following a young woman asked for help because he had groped her.

Between the driver and the woman, who was traveling with other women and a man, jerks and screams were recorded, for which residents of San Lucas Tepetlacalco requested the support of police officers on Emiliano Zapata street, corner of March 18.

The municipal police officers approached the car and the driver, identified as Alejandro N., allegedly tried to flee, but was arrested meters ahead.

realizing his presence, he tried to flee, initiating a chase that ended at Lauro Aguirre street, corner of Ezequiel Chávez, Bellavista Magisterial neighborhood.

The woman argued that there had been sexual abuse once morest her, for which the taxi driver was arrested and sent to the Public Ministry for the corresponding investigation, Tlalnepantla authorities reported.

However, a group of drivers from Didi arrived at the Public Ministry to try to rescue the detainee, who carried out several detonations with firearms, carrying stones and sticks.

The driver, Alejandro N., managed to show that he did not touch the passenger, who hit him along with his companions, as recorded by a security camera in the vehicle.

The captured images show that the woman and her companions demand that the driver lower a suitcase and then hit the driver. There’s even a jerk from a cell phone.

“He wants me to go too…”, “we are women, hang on…”, say the passengers during the jerk.

Personnel from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported that they are carrying out inquiries, derived from events that occurred outside the Tlalnepantla Justice Center.
